And members get their consult summaries - accessible to them via our website portal - less than twenty-four hours after the consult happens. Everything we do is digital, driven via our web portal or our app ... no mailed opinions or paper-based services! Job Description:

Summary/Objective:  The Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of recruiting for 2nd.MD and plays a critical role in ensuring its hiring the best possible talent. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and applicant qualifications for new positions.
  • Develop and execute recruiting plans.
  • Screen resumes to evaluate if candidates meet the position requirements.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by conducting an initial phone interview with applicants, analyzing responses, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Communicate employer and position information during the screening process.
  • Administer appropriate company assessment tools.
  • Make recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Arrange interviews with hiring managers by coordinating schedules.
  • Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved.
  • Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Collect data on cost per hire and time-to-hire.
  • Handle administrative duties related to the recruiting process.
  • Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
  • Stay current on the company’s organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
     
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience recruiting in relevant industry environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Recruiting and interviewing skills
  • Phone, Skype, and online meeting platform skills
  • Familiarity with relevant employment law
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills
