Job Description:

The Member Engagement Specialist will be responsible for managing the custom member communications strategy and execution for a select group of 2nd.MD clients with a goal of increasing member engagement and utilization. The Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating with key stakeholders, including large national clients and account management teams, along with partnering with marketing and agency partners to execute campaigns accurately and timely.  

Location: U.S. Based

Reports To​: Director, Member Engagement

Responsibilities:

  • Works directly with assigned group of 2nd.MD clients and Account Executives to develop a communication strategy and tactical calendar to drive utilization of 2nd.MD services
  • Manages and executes communication projects across 2nd.MD requiring cross-functional input (account management, sales, tech, marketing, clinical, etc.)
  • Responsible for increasing customer engagement (utilization) across an assigned book of business
  • Customer-facing to present communication campaign opportunities, manage client collateral approvals and report out results.
  • Supports customer open enrollment and health fairs

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred Communications, English, Marketing)
  • 3-5 years of experience in corporate communications/marketing (agency/consulting

Experience preferred)

  • Health system, wellness programs/products or insurance experience is a plus

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers and filing cabinets.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  
  • This is a full-time position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Some client travel will be required
