Job Description:

Summary/Objective: The Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for creating an environment of exceptional member focused care, a collaborative team environment, training new nursing staff, contributing to continual professional development, oversight of case distribution and leadership of assigned nursing staff under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Reports To: Director of Nursing

  • Facilitate new employee recruitment, onboarding, training, and mentoring

  • Coordinate nurse schedules and PTO to ensure adequate staffing to meet operational needs

  • Monitor and distribute case assignments to nurses based on skills routing and clinical judgement

  • Ongoing evaluation of nurse competency, quality, and adherence to policy and procedural expectations

  • Establish personal and team goals related to strategic initiatives for self and assigned nurses

  • Evaluate performance metrics, and facilitate bonus/incentive payments related to said metrics

  • Provide professional development and ongoing education opportunities for nurses

  • Participate in the development of relevant policies, procedures and best practices

  • Participate in the prioritization, design, testing and implementation of technology changes and developments

  • Assist Account Management in enhancing vendor partner relationships including as Nurse Lead or supervisor of Nurse Lead for assigned client companies

  • Participation in relevant committees and leadership meetings

  • Assist with projects as needed

Qualifications:
  • Nurse with minimum five years Nursing Experience

  • Ability to demonstrate leadership and managerial ability

  • Good interpersonal relationships

  • Application of sound administrative principles

  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSRN)

  • This is a full-time position, and general hours of work and days are Monday through Friday (8 hour work days) as agreed upon between manager and employee within the 7A-7P CST ‘open hours’

  • Periodic travel is anticipated
