Professional Focus Dr. Melanie Bone is a distinguished, board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with over three decades of exemplary practice in Palm Beach County, Florida. Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Bone specializes in hormone therapy and perimenopause/menopause management while maintaining comprehensive expertise in all aspects of general gynecology. Dr. Bone provides compassionate, evidence-based care for women of all ages, addressing concerns such as fibroids, Pap smear abnormalities, menstrual irregularities, and contraceptive choices. In 2025, Dr. Bone achieved certification as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), further solidifying her expertise in women's hormonal health.

Dr. Bone earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College, where she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honors society in recognition of her academic excellence. She then completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington University Medical Center, where her exceptional performance led to her appointment as Chief Resident.

Since 2016, Dr. Bone has been at the forefront of cannabis medicine, treating ailments ranging from insomnia and anxiety to cancer, multiple sclerosis, and chronic pain through the therapeutic use of cannabinoids. As a certified medical cannabis provider in the State of Florida, she provides expert consultation and guidance to clients nationwide who wish to consider this innovative therapeutic option.

Dr. Bone believes that education is fundamental to sound decision-making and is passionate about educating patients, healthcare providers, and the public at large. Her commitment to excellence has earned her numerous prestigious awards, including the 2021 Top Cannabis/Gynecologist by Boca Magazine, America's Top OB/GYN Award, Women in Leadership Award, and Women of Vision Award. In April 2021, she was appointed Clinical Affiliate Assistant Professor at the Charles E. Schmidt School of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, where she actively collaborates on research initiatives and participates in reviewing medical school applicants.

Dr. Bone is the mother of five children, and a 25-year survivor of stage III breast cancer. She is the sole author of two acclaimed books: 'Cancer, What Next?' published by Healthy Living and 'A Journey Through Cancer' published by Desert Ministries. She currently serves as US Medical Director for Your Daye, a progressive company focused on advancing women's health. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and playing tennis with her husband.
